Our Purpose
Born Ready is a nonprofit organization built on the belief that every child has the right to an education that meets their needs, fuels their curiosity, and supports their potential. Too many families face financial and systemic barriers that prevent students—especially those with disabilities—from receiving the tools, services, and opportunities they deserve. We exist to change that.
Our mission is to provide scholarships and direct support that ease the financial strain on families and open doors for students. From tuition assistance to disability testing, from adaptive technology to essential school supplies, Born Ready is here to bridge the gap where traditional systems fall short. We recognize that each child’s journey is unique, and we are committed to offering resources that empower both students and families to advocate for themselves and thrive in learning environments that truly support them.
Beyond financial aid, Born Ready seeks to spark confidence, independence, and possibility. Education is not just about academics—it’s about dignity, access, and opportunity. By helping families navigate challenges and reducing the weight of financial obstacles, we create a pathway for children to focus on their strengths and pursue their dreams.
We are powered by the generosity of donors, the dedication of advocates, and the resilience of families. Together, we are building a movement where students with disabilities are seen, heard, and supported every step of the way. At Born Ready, we believe that when given the right resources, every child can succeed—not someday, but today.
Meet The Founder
Nicholas Nold is the Founder of Born Ready Inc., a nonprofit dedicated to helping students, families, and young adults navigate the often–overwhelming landscape of learning disability diagnoses.
As someone who was diagnosed with a learning disability himself, Nicholas understands firsthand how difficult it can be to move through a school system that was not designed for minds that think and work differently.
Like many students, Nicholas began his education in the public school system. By first grade, there were clear signs that he needed additional support and accommodations, but at the time, the resources simply weren’t there. Throughout the years, Nicholas learned to cope, adapt, and find his own ways forward.
One story he often shares comes from third grade. After switching schools, Nicholas still couldn’t read or let alone write his own name. Despite this, he was social, well-liked, and invited to a friend’s birthday lunch. Thankfully, Nicholas’s mom gave the other parent a heads-up that he couldn’t read yet and might need help ordering. When the boys returned, the other mom smiled and said, without hesitation, “You have one very smart young man.”
She explained that Nicholas had figured out that if he let his friend order first, he could simply say, “I’ll have whatever he’s having.” And that’s exactly what he did. To this day, Nicholas remembers that sandwich vividly, and in his own words, it was absolutely horrible.
But that story carries an important message.
Just because a child, family member, friend, or student has a learning disability does not mean they can’t keep up. It means they learn differently. And when given the proper resources, advocacy, and guidance, they are capable of anything. Even when a student appears far behind, they are still finding ways—their own ways—to navigate the world.
This belief is the foundation of Born Ready Inc.
Nicholas was fortunate to have a support system that fought for him and ensured he received the education he deserved. Along the way, he met one teacher who changed everything. He remains deeply grateful for her guidance and firmly believes he would not be where he is today without her support.
Today, Nicholas is a successful serial entrepreneur based in Fort Lauderdale, Florida, serving as CEO of two companies and Founder of Born Ready Inc.

A Personal Message From Margaret Hamilton:
“I am deeply committed to creating equitable educational opportunities for children and young adults with learning disabilities because this mission is personal. Diagnosed with dyslexia at a young age, I experienced firsthand the confusion, frustration, and barriers that arise when learning differences are misunderstood or unsupported. There was a time when I did not believe I would ever graduate from high school. Yet through the support of dedicated educators and my family, and, most critically, access to appropriate evaluations, resources, and a supportive learning environment, my academic path and self-confidence were transformed.”
“These experiences drive my passion for Born Ready’s mission to provide educational access, advocacy, and financial support to individuals with diagnosed learning disabilities. I have since earned a degree in Health Sciences, graduating magna cum laude, a milestone that continues to remind me of what is possible when students are met with understanding and opportunity rather than limitation. By addressing systemic and financial barriers, I believe we can ensure that every learner receives the evaluations, services, and resources they need to thrive academically and beyond. Supporting this mission is not only an investment in education, but in dignity, equity, and the belief that learning disabilities should never define a student’s potential.”
